What is the Secret Valentine?

It is an event where anyone can request for a drabble or artwork anonymously while someone else can fill it. It works similarly with kink memes but with a few different rules. Requests and fills can be for any existing fandoms. It can also be original stories or art. The possibilities are endless!

This event will be held for the whole month of February (following Philippine Time/GMT+8). It will start at precisely 12:00 AM on Feb. 1 and end at 11:59 PM on Feb. 28. Make sure to read the rules and guidelines before posting anything. Any post that goes against the rules will be deleted.

This event is based on iu_fanfiction's Secret Valentine.

General Rules

1. This is an anonymous exchange event - all comments should be anonymous. It allows people to be free to request or fill without worrying about expectations and opinions of others about them. Please help us maintain that.

Only non-anonymous fills will be warned and allowed 24 hours to delete and repost anonymously. After that time period, it will be removed.

2. The highest rating allowed is M. This is not a kink meme. Please refer to FictionRatings for the guidelines.

Guidelines

Requesting:

1. Copy and paste the following for the format on requesting. You can be very specific with your request or very vague, it's up to you. Links can be given as prompts. Fandom may be original.

2. Always include the fandom and prompt. Don't just leave it to the filler. Prompts can be vague but it's not much of a request without one. Any requests without fandom and/or prompt will be deleted.

3. Only one request per comment. Make separate comments for different requests.

Filling:

1. Always include the rating of the fill at the start of the comment. Also include other warnings for spoilers or triggers. Any other warnings that you think are appropriate can be included.

2. The highest rating allowed is M. Again, this is not a kink meme. No sexually explicit content allowed. Please follow the FictionRating guidelines.

3. There is no word limit for drabble fills. If the fill exceeds the length allowed per comment, you can post another. Just label each accordingly. (Example: Fill [1/3], Fill [2/3], Fill [3/3])

4. For art fills, keep the images at a maximum of 500px in width. For anything exceeding in size, please upload to any of the anonymous image hosting sites below and put the link in the comment.

For other comments:

1. Seconding, thirding, etc. is allowed. Dibs are also allowed, though multiple fills are encouraged.

2. Commenting on fills is also permitted. Constructive criticism is welcome but please do not flame or shame any requests or fills. Any such posts will be deleted.

3. Asking or clarifying about a request is allowed but fillers are encouraged to interpret prompts as they will.

4. Non-requests/fills should not be a new comment. All posts of this kind should be a reply to a parent comment.

Other Pointers

1. Please respect one another. Don't flame or judge. Avoid inappropriate behavior at all times.

2. Please comment in understandable English. We're not strict about grammatical errors and such as long as it's something that everyone can understand.

3. Again, keep comments anonymous. There will be a post for revelations after the event is over. It will be up to you if you wish to reveal your requests and fills then. It will be highly encouraged as making new friends and discovering mutual fandoms is part of the purpose of this event :)
